A broad understanding of regional conditions is key to formulating and prioritizing new strategies that will ensure tomorrow's successes. Examination of issues related to equity, local food and health were undertaken as part of the assessment process.

Fair Housing and Equity Assessment

There are areas in our region where poverty, low education, and limited health care are concentrated. There are other places with good jobs, schools, and housing. Fulfilling the requirements of HUD’s Fair Housing and Equity Assessment, the Equity Profile promotes areawide access to opportunity.
