PlanET Team
The PlanET process is an ambitious project, to establish an actionable regional vision based on guidance from East Tennesseans. This requires great expertise in a variety of areas, such as planning, data analysis, public involvement, surveying techniques, technology, as well as specific knowledge of PlanET topics, such as transportation, the economy, the environment, health, and housing.
Local PlanET staff, provided by the Knoxville Regional Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and the Knoxville-Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC), offer a great deal of local, technical expertise in a number of these areas. However, to ensure PlanET’s greatest success, PlanET staff is partnering with the University of Tennessee and a team of consultants led by Wallace, Roberts & Todd.
